Skoda Kylaq Standard Features List Explained

The Skoda Kylaq is a compact SUV that marks the brand’s entry into the competitive sub-4 metre SUV segment.
Skoda has launched its Kylaq model in India on 20th January 2026. With its signature design, Kylaq boasts a features-rich cabin and a powerful 1-litre turbo petrol engine offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.
The Skoda Kylaq entry-level price starts from ₹7.59 lakh ex-showroom and goes till ₹12.99 lakh for the top model. Kylaq is offered in 11 variants. The base model of the Skoda Kylaq is Classic, and the top model is Prestige Plus AT.
In this blog, we will describe in detail about the top 5 standard features of Kylaq, which are similar from the base model to the top model.

1) Standard 6 airbags
For all the variants from base to top, the Skoda Kylaq gets 6 airbags (2 airbags for frontal impact, 2 side-curtain airbags, and 2 air bags are integrated in the front seat).
Also, the SUV has earned a 5-star safety rating from the Bharat NCAP that reflects its robust construction and advanced protection systems. It is suitable for small families prioritising long-term reliability along with occupant protection.

2) Height-adjustable driver seat
The Skoda Kylaq comes with 6-way manual adjustment, including height, recline, and slide, while higher variants of Kylaq offer electric adjustment, but both manual and electric adjustment are useful for short height drivers and long tours.

3) Crystalline LED headlamps
The Skoda Kylaq offers LED headlamps with a minimalist design but with advanced technology. In most of the rivals of Kylaq, the company offers halogen headlamps because of cost-cutting, but the Kylaq offers them from the very base variants.

4) Tilt and telescopic steering wheel
The Skoda Kylaq comes with a standard tilt and telescopic steering wheel across all the variants, which provides better and more precise positioning compared to many competitors that may only offer tilt adjustment. It also helps to maintain a proper and safe distance for better control and air effectiveness.

5) Adjustable headrests for all seats
The Skoda Kylaq offers all five adjustable headrests from the base model, which improves neck support, safety, and comfort for rear passengers, especially on long journeys.
The proper adjustable headrests reduce neck and shoulder strain, and it also provides essential support during a frontal collision of a car. While its rivals like Maruti Suzuki Brezza do not offer even fixed headrests for the rear passengers.
