At last, MG has revealed a facelift for the MG Hector. The teaser officially indicates that the updated SUV will make its debut on December 15th, 2025. This announcement generates excitement among MG Hector enthusiasts who have eagerly anticipated its refreshed version.

JSW MG Motor India is set to unveil the MG Hector Facelift on December 15. The automaker has shared a teaser video on its official social media platforms, showcasing glimpses of the new design elements, including the front grille, overall design, and connected DRLs. This builds significant anticipation surrounding the MG Hector and its forthcoming features.
The 2026 MG Hector will feature a hexagonal mesh design with the âMGâ logo prominently displayed at the center of the front. Additionally, it will include new graphical lights at the rear, a completely redesigned bumper, and new 19-inch (expected) alloy wheels. These enhancements contribute to a more modern and premium appearance for the MG Hector.
Inside, the vehicle will be equipped with a powerful infotainment system boasting up to 10GB of RAM. The MG Hector will also feature a panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats with leatherette upholstery. These attributes elevate the premium ambiance of the MG Hector’s cabin and enhance overall comfort.

The MG Hector Facelift will retain the same engine options, which include a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine available with either a manual transmission or CVT, as well as a 2.0-litre diesel engine offered with a manual gearbox. These engine selections ensure that the MG Hector continues to deliver reliable and proven performance.
The pricing of the vehicle is expected to be reasonable, especially considering that previous sales figures dropped significantly from 20,196 units to 8,419 units. Therefore, the MG Hector is anticipated to be priced between approximately 14 lakh and 20.96 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing range positions the MG Hector as a competitive choice within the SUV market.
