WR-V 2026 Launch Date in India: What You Need to Know

In conclusion, Honda Motors is gearing up to introduce its new WR-V sub-4m compact SUV. Despite its official discontinuation in India in April 2023 due to the BS6 Phase-2 emission standards not being met, the model is poised to make a comeback in an updated version.

The WR-V has been seen undergoing tests on Indian roads, although official specifications have yet to be confirmed. Nevertheless, it is anticipated that the final iteration of the WR-V will measure under 4 meters and could be launched in mid-2026 at a price range of ₹9–10 lakh (ex-showroom). This introduction may significantly impact the mid-size SUV market, competing with models such as the Kia Seltos, Nexon, Brezza, and Victors. Honda has officially stated its intention to launch 10 products in India by 2030, with 7 of those being SUVs and mid-size SUVs.
