The American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors has officially commenced deliveries of the Model Tesla-Y from its newly established showroom located at Orchid Business Park, Sector 48, Gurugram, Haryana.
The Tesla Model Y marks the first vehicle that Tesla Motors has officially introduced to the Indian market. Furthermore, the Model Y is recognized as the best-selling car globally. It is also the quickest vehicle in the electric vehicle segment, achieving 0 to 100 km/h in merely 3.5 seconds.
However, one aspect that is disappointing is the unavailability of Tesla’s autonomous driving feature in India. Previous testing results of the vehicle did not meet expectations, but the company is actively working on this issue. This feature may be implemented in the future.
Tesla Model Y Battery Options in India
The vehicle is available with two battery pack options:

The 64 kWh variant provides a range of 500 km and is priced at ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
🔹 Long Range Variant
The 84.2 kWh variant offers a range of 660 km and is priced at ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Charging Network Expansion in India
Tesla is also enhancing its charging network throughout India, as they assert that the charging infrastructure represents the most significant obstacle in the electric vehicle sector.
They are expanding charging stations and installing fast chargers at home to improve the convenience of the electric vehicle ecosystem.
