Audi’s New Electric SUVs: range of 320 km in 10 Minutes!

Finally, Audi has officially announced its two electric SUV launches in China, in collaboration with the local partner FAW. At the new factory in Changchun, the whole process of parts sourcing and assembling takes place.

Both new models are based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture, which offers high performance and more off-road capability. The modern infotainment system will please the Chinese consumers.

This car will become the “largest model initiative” in China’s history. It combines fully electric cars with efficient-powered models.


About the Car

The concept feels nearly production-ready, carrying the same design. It is 5057 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3060 mm. It nearly matches the footprint of the Q7 model. This car delivers 680 PS power with an all-wheel-drive system.


Front View

From the front, the rectangular-shaped lights enhancing the front look. The head lights are LEDs and are hidden. The Audi emblem on the hood is more similar to its other EV SUVs.


Side View

The side view has butterfly-style rear-view mirrors and flush door handles, enhancing the overall look of the car. The spoked alloy wheels may be 23 inches and the B-pillar and c-pillar are in gloss black theme.


Back View

Same as the front, the back view is a bit similar. The rectangular tail lights are same as front. The wipers are hidden. As per the spy shots, the 4 parking sensors are also seen.


Battery & Launch Details

The China-only contribution is a large 109-kWh battery pack with enough energy. It enables roughly 320 km of range in just 10 minutes. Audi will launch this car next year in China.
